State Highway 153 or SH 153 is a Texas state highway that runs from south of Sweetwater southeast to Coleman. The route was designated in 1988, replacing FM 53.

SH 153 was originally designated by 1933 along a route from Valley Mills to Temple. This route was redesignated as part of SH 317 by 1939, and FM 56 in 1942.
