Texas A&M Health Science Center South Texas Center

The South Texas Center provides support for health professions education, recruits students from South Texas into the health professions, provides health outreach programs to disadvantaged populations in the region and facilitates research on health issues specific to the Lower Rio Grande Valley. Graduate degree programs, such as a Master of Public Health (M.P.H.) degree, are offered by the School of Rural Public Health through its distance education program located at the STC.
