William Roger Clemens (born August 4, 1962 in Dayton, Ohio), nicknamed "The Rocket", is one of the preeminent Major League baseball pitchers of the 1980s, 1990s, and 2000s, and is widely considered to be one of the greatest pitchers of all time. He has won seven Cy Young Awards -- two more than any other pitcher. He throws and bats right-handed, and currently plays for the Houston Astros.

He currently is second on the all-time list behind only Nolan Ryan. After retiring from the Yankees, he changed his mind and returned in 2004 with the Houston Astros, where he has remained a top tier pitcher.
