Languages
Why no native language? I was born in Hong Kong and lived there for 17 years. My mother tongue is Cantonese, and I am able to read traditional Chinese. After more than 20 years of neglect, both my oral and written skills in Chinese are very rusty. |

My favorite books include Childhood's End by Arthur C. Clarke, The Left Hand of Darkness by Ursula K. Le Guin, and Snow Crash by Neal Stephenson. I've read a lot of books by Isaac Asimov, Robert A. Heinlein, and Orson Scott Card. Other writers whose works I have enjoyed include Spider Robinson, Theodore Sturgeon, and C. J. Cherryh.

Favorite TV shows
This Farsape tag does not do justice to my love of the show. I also like Babylon 5 a lot.
I don't watch much cartoons, but find Avatar: The Last Airbender oddly interesting. |
