Testify is rock band P.O.D.'s sixth studio album, fourth major-label album, originally for release in December 2005 but finally slated for a January 24, 2006 release by Atlantic Records. This is P.O.D.'s first major-label release not produced by Howard Benson. The full album was leaked to file-sharing networks on January 20, 2006, just four days before its release. It was also their last album with Jason Truby on guitar, before his leaving the band in December 2006.

[edit] Sales

The label shipped only 50,000 copies leading to wide-spread shortages in the first week of sales which resulted in the poor sales on the first week of release despite a strong first single, "Goodbye For Now". Only two singles have been released so far, probably due to conflicts between the band and their record label, Atlantic Records, which has resulted in only around 267,000 copies sold in America.

[edit] Notes

  • The song "This Time" is played on some Christian radio stations.
