Testaferrata
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
The 'Marquis Testaferrata' is a title of Maltese nobility. Only males may succeed to the title, due to its creation and recognition in Italy under a 1927 law concerning primogeniture. The title was always merged with the Marquises of San Vincenzo Ferreri until the elder line in the male die died out. The second cousin of the last Marquis Testaferrata succeeded as Marquis Testaferrata. Recognised by the Italian Nobility, "Libro d'Oro di Italia" and the Foreign Titles Assocation of Malta.
Succession of this title will end up with a male descendant if any of Publio Testaferrata, or the Marquis Testaferrata Olivier, as next Male heir.
