Teshikaga, Hokkaidō

Teshikaga (弟子屈町, -chō) is a town located in Kawakami District, Kushiro Subprefecture, Hokkaidō Prefecture. As of September 30, 2004 it has an estimated population of 9,115 and an area of 774.53 km².
Famous tourist attractions in the town include Lake Mashu (Ainu: Kamuy-to), Lake Kussharo (Ainu: Kuccharo) and Kawayu Onsen. The climate is so cold that diamond dust can be seen in winter.
