Tescopoly (a portmanteau term derived from the name of the supermarket Tesco and the term monopoly) is a campaign run by United Kingdom anti-poverty and environmental campaign groups, aimed at highlighting environmental and social impacts attributed to British supermarket chains.

Tescopoly's main manifesto includes:

  • introduction of a legally binding code of practice to ensure that all suppliers, throughout the supply chain at home and overseas, are treated fairly.
  • set up of an independent watchdog to ensure the grocery market is operating in the interests of consumers, farmers and small retailers.
  • campaign for a block on any new take-overs by Tesco or other major supermarkets.
  • more support for local shops from local authorities and Government.
  • set in place measures to hold supermarkets accountable for internationally recognised workers' rights throughout their supply chains.

The organisations responsible for the campaign are the New Economics Foundation, Banana Link, The Small and Family Farms Alliance, Friends of the Earth, the GMB trade union, NGH, Women Working Worldwide and War on Want.
