Teru Shimada

Teru Shimada, (born 17 November 1905, Japan - died 19 June 1988) was an acclaimed Japanese-American actor who was cast most famously as Mr Osato, a SPECTRE agent in the 1967 James Bond film, You Only Live Twice. His film career began in 1932 with the Night Club Lady until his retirement in the early 1970s following a brief appearance in Hawaii 5-O. He also starred in 1966 Batman film as a Japanese delegate but was actually uncredited for his role. He also played in Voyage to the Bottom of the Sea in 1965. The episode is named "And five of us are left". He died in Encino, California, in 1988.
