From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Terry Michael Teagle (born April 10, 1960 in Broaddus, Texas) is an American former professional basketball player in the NBA. He played from 1982 until 1993.

Teagle, a 6'5" shooting guard from Baylor University, was selected 16th overall in the 1982 NBA Draft by the Houston Rockets. He lasted two seasons in Houston before moving on to play with three other teams (Detroit Pistons, Golden State Warriors and Los Angeles Lakers) before returning to the Rockets to play two games in April 1993 before retiring.

While playing for the Lakers during the 1990-91 NBA season, Teagle made the shot on which teammate Magic Johnson claimed the all-time assist record from Oscar Robertson.
