Terry MacAlmon is a Christian songwriter, recording artist and worship leader who specializes in writing and performing worship songs. He runs a worship music ministry based in Colorado Springs, Colorado and travels around the United States leading worship at conferences, retreats, worship seminars and churches.
Terry has been known to perform often at outdoor concerts and rallies, while singing and playing piano with no other musical accompaniment. He often dons what have come to be known as his trademark pair of Ray-Ban sunglasses,[citation needed] while performing in a style some have claimed resembles the late Ray Charles.
He is well known for writing the popular song I Sing Praises that has been a Top 40 Christian song around the world, and is still regularly sung in many churches. The song was published by Integrity Music in 1989 and is included in many modern hymnals.
