Terry Hornbuckle

Terry Hornbuckle once was the Senior Pastor of Agape Christian Fellowship, an explosive congregation of 2,000+ members in Arlington, Texas. Hornbuckle was born February 2, 1962 in Grapevine, Texas. Hornbuckle started Victory Temple Bible Church in Arlington with 15 members in 1986. Then the church moved into a former Dairy Queen building in 1987. Then the church is renamed Agape Christian Fellowship in 1992 and the church moved into an 8,000-square-foot strip mall storefront in Arlington in 1995. Hornbuckle's church moved into a 30,000-square-foot, $3 million building in Arlington in 1999. He earned a B.S. degree in Pre-Law/Business from the University of Texas at Arlington, Arlington, Texas; a Pre-Law degree from the Oral Roberts University School of Law in Tulsa, Oklahoma; a Masters degree in Christian Education/Social Work from the Southwestern Theological Seminary in Fort Worth, Texas; and was trying to pursue a Ph. D. in Conflicts Management at Trinity Theological Seminary in Newburg, Indiana via the internet.

Then Terry Hornbuckle on Aug. 22, 2006 was found guilty of rape of members of his church.

He is married to Renee Hornbuckle, who now pastors the church while he serves jail time and is the father of children: Matthew, Rachel, and Jordan.
