Terry Hall (ventriloquist)

Terry Hall was a British ventriloquist who first appeared on BBC Television in 1956 and on the Ed Sullivan Show in 1958. He remained popular during the 1960s, appearing regularly on television with his puppet, Lenny the Lion. One programme in 1963 called 'Pops and Lenny' featured an early appearance by The Beatles.

His son, also called Terry Hall, was with the musical groups The Specials, the Fun Boy Three, The Colourfield and Vegas.
