Terry Crowley

Terry Crowley (born February 16, 1947 in Staten Island, New York) is the current hitting coach of the Baltimore Orioles, a Major League Baseball team.

Crowley was once a player for the Orioles. Crowley played between 1969 and 1983; for every season except 1974 (Cincinnati Reds), 1975 (Reds), part of 1976 (Atlanta Braves), and 1983 (Montreal Expos), Crowley was an Oriole. He was a backup first baseman/outfielder/designated hitter. In fact, when designated hitter rule was implemented, he was the first Oriole to fulfill this role. However, he was best known during his playing career for being a pinch hitter. His 108 career pinch-hits is still the 12th-most all-time.
