Terry Cooke (born August 5, 1976 in Marston Green near Birmingham) is an English football (soccer) midfielder, who currently plays for the Colorado Rapids of Major League Soccer. He represented England at U16, U18 and U21 levels.

Cooke came up through the youth system of Manchester United and scored the penalty that clinched the FA Youth Cup in 1995, but only appeared in eight first team matches with the club. He made his debut in the Premiership match against Bolton Wanderers in September 1995, providing the cross for a Ryan Giggs goal, and scored in the League Cup tie against York City at Bootham Crescent one month later. His time at Old Trafford was marred by a cruciate ligament injury which occurred in the autumn of 1997. Prior to suffering the injury he had been loaned out to Sunderland and Birmingham City. After recovering he was loaned to Wrexham and then Manchester City, who subsequently bought him for £1 million in 1999. From then on, it was more loans, to Wigan Athletic, Sheffield Wednesday, and Grimsby Town; he switched to the latter on a free transfer in 2002, and then to Sheffield Wednesday, also on a free, in 2003.

In 2005, Cooke signed with Colorado Rapids, and scored two goals and had two assists during his first MLS season.
