Terry Butler, of Tampa, Florida, USA, is the current bassist in the death metal band Six Feet Under. He was also a member of Massacre and Death, credited on the Death albums Leprosy and Spiritual Healing, although Death's guitarist and vocalist Chuck Schuldiner claimed in the press (Rock Hard, December 1991) that Schuldiner himself played the bass parts on Leprosy. He is a scorpio, he is married, and has three children, and he is brother-in-law to Greg Gall.

Before he joined Six Feet Under, he was in a band with Steve Swanson, the current guitar player of Six Feet Under. In an interview, he said: "I'd rather be really popular in Underground, than be an unknown main stream."
