Terrorfakt is an industrial and power noise musical project from New York City. Although the project involved multiple members in its early days, it is now the de facto solo project of Ben Dewalt (who also works under the names DJ Hellraver, and T-Faktor), although other musicians occasionally join him for live shows. Having had produced earlier albums, in 2003 they debuted on Tinman Records with Deconstruction (later released on Metropolis Records). Prior to the Tinman Records release, Deconstruction was released on CD-R independently.

The project formed as a response to the September 11 Attacks, and originally opted for an incognito image, wearing hoods, masks, and military inspired clothing on stage. The music often contains heavily distorted samples from movies.
