Terrapin Beer Company is a U.S. beer company located in Athens, Georgia.

It released its first beer, the Terrapin Rye Pale Ale, in spring 2002.

There is no brewery in Athens, GA as of yet. Terrapin Beer is contract brewed in Frederick, Maryland. The originators of Terrapin Beer come from Athens, GA and they have plans of building a brewery in Athens.
