Terranotron thinks very highly of himself, but he backs up his boasts when he's in battle. Loves it when the odds are against him. Takes on multiple squadrons of jet drones by himself, then follows it by plasma-bombing divisions of tank drones on the ground. Exterior Alloy coating makes him invisible to enemy detection. Convinced that aerial strategy is the key to defeating the Vehicons, and argues the point constantly with ground-based Maximals. The friction fades when they enter battle, though - he may be a hotshot, but he's always a team fighter in combat.
[edit] Beast Machines
In a desperate attempt to combat Megatron's techno-organic virus on Cybertron, the Oracle Supercomputer reformats a group of surviving Transformers, rendering them immune to the plague and extremely powerful. Using the DNA schematics of former Maximal Dinobot, each warrior emerges as a hybrid of savage prehistoric power and advanced Cybertronian robotics...the result, the fearsome Dinobots are born!
Terranotron was one of three Dinobots to follow the original five unit group of Dinobots. Unlike the originals however Trannotron was not pure techno-organic but an unexplained hybrid of techno-organic technology and TransMetal technology; which gave him a unique status as the only Dinobot with a third mode. Like Dinotron and T-Wrecks, Terranotron was a Predacon before Megatron took over Cybertron.
The Terranotron toy was part of the Dinobots faction of Beast Machines which featured no new molds but did release molds previously unseen in America. He was a recolor of Beast Wars TransMetal Terrorsaur.
Although the Dinobots' intro states that the Dinobots received their beast modes through the slicing of Dinobot's DNA, it is likely that the Oracle also used the fossil chamber (seen in the Beast Machine series) to utilize Pteranodon DNA.
Terranotron is a homage to the original Dinobot Swoop in his pteradactyl form
[edit] 3H Comics
Terranotron's only appearance in Transformers fiction was in the Transformers: Universe - Wreckers comic series.
