TerrainView is a VR-Applications for editing and visualizing complex 3D-Geo Data. The Data can be viewed on a local machine or via web stream. It runs on PC (Win2000, XP) and belongs to the TerrainView Software Suite.

The main focus of TerrainView is the professional use for technical/scientific and security relevant fields. City Models of CyberCity AG are directly integrated. An easy navigation and a simple Workflow enable also "Non-Professionals" to create 3D-Interactive-Visualizations and Presentations.

Based on the A-Terrain Extreme TerraPage-Format highly detailed 3D Terrain and - Landscape models can be processed. With A-Terrain Extreme 3D Terrain models can be build easily. Data processing, 3D modelling and Know How transfer are proposed by ViewTec as additional services.

Using an application like CyberCity Modeler from CyberCity AG the semi-automatic generation of city models is possible. The interface for an ad-hoc visualization is integrated in TerrainView.

To raise the realistic look of a scene, 3D models of buildings, information boards or vehicles can be easily imported. The supported file formats are:
