Terra Nova High School is an American public high school in Pacifica, California serving grades 9 through 12 as part of the Jefferson Union High School District (JUHSD).

Terra Nova High School was established in 1961 to serve the growing population in the Linda Mar neighborhood of southern Pacifica.

The original buildings and campus were architected by Mark Falk & Corwin Booth (of Falk & Booth).

Terra Nova has Advanced Placement classes in US History, Chemistry, US Government, Language and Composition, Literature, and others. As of 2006, Terra Nova has an API score of 782, the fourth highest of all San Mateo County public high schools.

[edit] Extracurricular activities

Terra Nova's student-run newspaper is the Terra Nova Times. Terra Nova also has a team on the Bay Area's Quiz Kids show. Terra Nova plays a wide variety of sports, including football, badminton, cross-country, tennis, track, water polo, swimming, soccer, basketball, and wrestling. Terra Nova is 2005 Sophomore Football PAL Bay Division Champions. The drama department performs murder mysteries every year.
