Tergu is a comune (municipality) in the Province of Sassari in the Italian region Sardinia, located about 190 km north of Cagliari and about 20 km northeast of Sassari. As of 31 December 2004, it had a population of 579 and an area of 36.5 km2.[1]
Tergu borders the following municipalities: Castelsardo, Nulvi, Osilo, Sedini, Sennori, Sorso.
