Teresa Gambaro

Teresa Gambaro (born 29 November 1958), Australian politician, has been a Liberal member of the Australian House of Representatives since March 1996, representing the Division of Petrie, Queensland. She was born in Brisbane, Queensland, and was educated at the Queensland University of Technology. She was a sales manager, account manager, marketing manager, marketing consultant and tutor in marketing at the Queensland University of Technology before entering politics.
Gambaro was appointed Parliamentary Secretary to the Minister for Defence in July 2004, and has, subsequently, been appointed Parliamentary Secretary to the Minister for Foreign Affairs since January 2006. In 2007 she was appointed Assistant Minister for Immigration & Citizenship.
