Based on interview with the man himself, it can be learned he was suspected of working for INLA as opposed to IRA Porvida 14:55, 16 January 2006 (UTC)
The INLA didn't exist until 1974-5. In 1971 the founders of the INLA and IRSP were mostly still members of the Official Republican Movement.
