The Tephritinae are a subfamily of tephritid fruit flies.

The Tephritinae are grouped into eleven tribes:

  • Acrotaeniini (99 species, 10 genera)
  • Cecidocharini (8 species, 41 genera)
  • Dithrycini (103 species, 13 genera)
  • Eutretini (96 species, 16 genera)
  • Myopitini (132 species, 11 genera)
  • Noeetini (21 species, 8 genera)
  • Schistopterini (55 species, 10 genera)
  • Tephrellini (178 species, 40 genera)
  • Tephritini (976 species, 80 genera)
  • Terelliini (104 species, 6 genera)
  • Xyphosiini (29 species, 5 genera)

25 species in four genera are not included in any of the above tribes.
