[edit] Arnfinn Nesset

A tag has been placed on Arnfinn Nesset, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done because the article seems to be about a person, group of people, band, club, company, or web content, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is notable. If you can indicate why the subject of this article is notable, you may contest the tagging. To do this, please affix the template {{hangon}} to the page and leave a note on the article's talk page explaining your position. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself.

Please read the criteria for speedy deletion (specifically, article #7) and our general biography criteria. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. Amarkov babble 04:09, 30 October 2006 (UTC)

Hi. This article I find notable because the person described is a serial killer. It would be useful if you could explain what needs to be done with the article. I am trying to do it right:) --Teodor605 04:29, 30 October 2006 (UTC)
I am sorry that I mistakenly identified you as the person who removed the speedy tag. As for your question, WP:NOTE has what you want. -Amarkov babble 04:45, 30 October 2006 (UTC)
OK. As you may have noticed my native language is not English... I initially misspelled carcass as caucus and later changed it to corpse. Whic is the better term to describe a deceased person's body? --Teodor605 04:48, 30 October 2006 (UTC)
In general, Carcass is for dead animals corpse is for dead humans. JoshuaZ 05:07, 30 October 2006 (UTC)
Also, the article will be more likely kept if you can provide sources that discuss Nesset. For further details you may want to see WP:BIO.JoshuaZ 05:10, 30 October 2006 (UTC)

There are plenty of sources that discuss Nesset. Please find them and cite them in the article using the appropriate citation templates. When creating articles in the future, please cite sources from the very first edit. Then you won't have this trouble. Uncle G 12:00, 30 October 2006 (UTC)

Hi Theodor! The comment about Nesset now being a Salvation Army officer was not added by me, but in [1] this edit by an anonymous user. You can perfectly remove it if want to, I can not recall to have heard about it before either. Cheers, ArchStanton 11:11, 15 February 2007 (UTC)
