Teoloyucan

Teoloyucan is a city and its surrounding municipality located in the state of México in Mexico. The city serves as municipal seat of the municipality, which lies 45 km (28 mi) north of the Federal District (Distrito Federal) in the northeastern part of the state of México, and is part of the Greater Mexico City urban area. The census of 2005 reported a population of 54,202 for the city and 73,696 for the municipality. The municipality has an area of 31.52 km² (12.17 sq mi). Other significant communities in the municipality include San Bartolo and Santa Cruz del Monte.
