[edit] Lleyton Hewitt

You said: "Hi, would you mind reviewing an article that I deleted a small portion of text on? This article before didn't have a NPOV, so I made some deletions of text and added a controversey section. Could you see if I made the right adjustments and could possibly get the tag at the top removed of Lleyton Hewitt? Thanks."

The image is good, it is freely-licensed and of high quality so I wholeheartedly approve of that. I also like that you have set up a controversy section (though I think it shouldn't have that final 'e' in the word); in my opinion, it is best to group controversy into one section in most cases. You also seem to have done a good job of removing irrelevant sections and generally cleaning up the article. Whether or not the NPOV tag should be removed is really up to the other editors on that page. It's not something you need an administrator for and as my knowledge of tennis is sorely lacking, I'm not really in the best position to judge. --Yamla 02:02, 22 December 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Welcome to Esperanza!

Welcome, Tennislover, to Esperanza! As you might know, all the Esperanzians share one important goal: the success of this encyclopedia. Within that, we then attempt to strengthen the community bonds, and be the "approachable" side of the project. All of our ideals are held in the Charter, the governing document of the association.

Now that you are a member you should read the guide to what to do now or you may be interested in some of our programs. You can support editors who have encountered any stress from their Wikipedia events, and are seeking to leave the project. So far, Esperanza can be credited with the support and retention of several users. We will send you newsletters to keep you up to date. Also, we have a calendar of special events, member birthdays, and other holidays that you can add to and follow.

In addition to these projects, several more missions of Esperanza are in development, and are currently being created at Esperanza/Proposals.

If you have any other questions, concerns, comments, or general ideas, Esperanzian or otherwise, know that you can always contact our administrator general Natalya by email or talk page. Consider introducing yourself at the Esperanza talk page! Alternatively, you could communicate with fellow users via our IRC channel, #wikipedia-esperanza (which is also good for a fun chat or two :). If you're new to IRC, you may find help at an IRC tutorial. I thank you for joining Esperanza, and look forward to working with you in making Wikipedia a better place to work!

Suggestion: If you need any help coping with stress in the future, know that you can go to Wikipedia:Esperanza/Alerts. =) --Ed ¿Cómo estás? 05:52, 23 December 2006 (UTC)

Just a happy Birthday message to you, Tennislover, from the Wikipedia Birthday Committee! Have a great day!

On a more personal note (some people are disgiusted by mechanical birthday wishes), I hope you have a great birthday. Enjoy it, because you're not getting any younger :D   •The RSJ•   Talk | Sign Here 21:03, 20 January 2007 (UTC)

[edit] World No...s in boldface

Ciao! I see that you're caring of most of tennis articles here. According to WP:Style, it is wrong to put the World No. xxx notices in the players' entries in boldface. so, maybe, when surfing on each article to do your improvements or correction, you could also correct it. Bye and good work. --Attilios 14:21, 21 January 2007 (UTC)

Ah, and a late happy birthday from me also. --Attilios 14:22, 21 January 2007 (UTC)
