Tennessee State Route 2
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
State Route 2 is a west to east highway in Tennessee that is 185 miles (298 km) long. It begins in Rutherford County and ends in Loudon County.
It runs southeast from Rutherford County toward Chattanooga and then northeast from there to Loudon County. As nearly the entire route is overlain by U.S. Highways, the designation "Tennessee Route 2" is very seldom used by the general public; the only exception would be where a small portion of it parallel to Interstate 24 near Kimball, Tennessee has been removed from the U.S. Highway system and is no longer part of U.S. Route 41; but the highway still exists and is in use.
