Temmon or Tembun (天文) was a Japanese Era after Kyōroku and before Kōji and spanned from 1532 to 1555. The reigning emperor was Go-Nara.

At the request of Ashikaga Yoshiharu, the 12th shōgun of the Muromachi Bakufu, because of various battles, on the 29th day of the 7th month of Kyōroku 5 (1532), the era was changed to Temmon.

- Temmon Gannen (1532), 8th month 24th day - Yamashina Honganji set on fire. Hokke Riot in Kyōto
- Temmon 10 (1541), 6th month, 14th day - Takeda Harunobu (later Shingen) banishes his father Nobutora
- Temmon 12 (1543), 8th month, 25th day - Portuguese ship drifts ashore at Tanegashima, guns introduced into Japan (some believe it was 1542)
- Temmon 15 (1546), 12th month 20th day - Ashikaga Yoshiteru becomes 13th Shōgun of Muromachi Bakufu
- Temmon 17 (1548), 12th month 30th day - Nagao Kagetora (later Uesugi Kenshin) replaces his older brother Nagao Harukage as heir to Echigo Province, triumphant entry in Kasugayama Castle
- Temmon 18 (1549), 2nd month 24th day - Princess Nō marries Oda Nobunaga
- Temmon 18 (1549), 7th month 3rd day - Francis Xavier arrives at Kagoshima
- Temmon 18 (1549), 11th month, 27th day - Matsudaira clan of Mikawa Province fall under Imagawa Yoshimoto's rule. Takechiyo (later Tokugawa Ieyasu) departs for Imagawa as a hostage.
