- Guitarist Craig Spelliscy was a childhood friend of Cadence Weapon.
- Kenny Seldom from Edmonton's zombie-punks The Franklins and heavy metal Thrastic Fibrosis jammed with TSE in its infancy, but never joined.
- Three of the original members attended Louis St. Laurent High School in Edmonton.
- Vocalist Andrew Usenik played years of minor hockey as the defence partner of Dion Phaneuf, an all-star defenceman for the NHL's Calgary Flames.
