Ten Rapid (Collected Recordings 1996-1997) is a compilation of recordings by Scottish post-rock band Mogwai, preceding their debut album Young Team. It collects material from various sources, recorded in 1996 and 1997.
The opening track, "Summer", was featured in a U.S. advertising campaign for Levi's jeans in 2003. "Helicon 1", "Helicon 2" and "Ithica 27ø9" still appear frequently in the band's live performances. The last track, "End", is simply "Helicon 2" backwards.
