Ten Mile Junction LRT Station

Ten Mile Junction LRT station (BP14) is a Light Rapid Transit station on the Bukit Panjang LRT Line in Singapore. It was opened in November 1999 and is operated by SMRT. Like a discontinued Sentosa Monorail and Sentosa Station of Sentosa Express, this is a only LRT station, which is air-conditioned and has Platform screen doors and only one track

The station is located within the Ten Mile Junction shopping centre.

The station, is accessible to Malaysia as 2 SBS Transit bus services, 160 and 170 run through the station near this station. It used to be a police station - Bukit Panjang Police Station on a hill, which is levelled to make way for the station. There is a shopping centre, Ten Mile Junction below the LRT station, occupied by several education centres, small shops, food outlets and Sheng Siong Supermarket, which had occupied most of Ten Mile Junction's space since December 2004.
LRT trains are parked in this station. This is also the headquarters of SMRT Light Rail, wholly owned subsidiary of SMRT and it is also the place where the LRT trains are directed from as the LRT system is a driver-less light transit system.
The building itself is a mini shopping complex. It used to a quiet place as shops opens and closed before you know it. Since the opening of Seng Siong Supermarket, business has been bustling, other shops follows such as LaserFlair and many others have come to open shops here. It has since been a place for family to do their weekly household shopping.
