Ten-17 FM is an Independent Local Radio station, based at the Latton Bush Centre in Harlow. The station launched in May 1993 and serves East Herts and West Essex.

Originally part of the Essex Radio Group, it is now owned by GCap Media.

Interestingly, the station was briefly renamed Mercury 101.7 by then-owners GWR before a listener survey suggested a switch back to the heritage name would be preferable.

Presenters include Freddie Scherer, Harvey Lee (formerly of Atlantic 252), Tim Humphries, Howard Ritchie and Music Control's Kevin Hughes. Previous presenters include Wyvern FM's Lee Stone, Essex FM's AJ, Rick Simmonds of Heart 106.2, Orchard FM's Ian Burrage, Northants 96 drivetime presenter Neil Grayson and the "voice" of the One Network Dave Kelly.

The station has recently had a full studio refurbishment and remains a solidly performing local radio station, albeit with noisy air conditioning.
