[edit] Consistency of design
I've suggested at User talk:Violetriga/statusdevelopment that the tags on talk pages be made a more consistent design. Please take a look and leave some comments there. violet/riga (t) 13:09, 10 Apr 2005 (UTC)
[edit] Wikipedia:WikiProject Usability
I've recently created a Usability WikiProject. The intent is to make Wikipedia easier and more pleasant to use by encouraging things like accessibility, Cross-browser support, standardized templates, and so on. If anyone is interested, please have a look at it, and see if perhaps you'd like to join. –MT 29 June 2005 03:01 (UTC)
[edit] Naming convention for WikiProject templates
Seems like we ought to establish a naming convention for WikiProject templates so they can be easily recognized, and to help with organization. Thoughts? --Tetraminoe 23:41, 28 January 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Editors who upkeep an article
I know theres a template for talk pages that alerts users to a a specific user who is very involved in the upkeep of a specific article. I cant seem to find it here. Thanks, -Reuvenk[T][C] 22:20, 10 May 2006 (UTC)
- Wouldn't that violate WP:OWN? Any such template seems like it would be deleted rather swiftly. --tjstrf 04:19, 18 July 2006 (UTC)
- I think the template you're referring to is {{Maintained}}? -- Longhair 05:11, 1 September 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Future article talk page
I've recently been encouraged to move the template User:BigNate37/TM/Future article talk page out of userspace (and thus into template space). It is currently in use on three talk namespace pages. Opinions are appreciated before I make the move and list it on WP:TM/TALK. BigNate37(T) 05:01, 1 September 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Maybe I'm just being a nitpick but...
It would be nice if there were smaller versions of these banners available. Some pages, like this one Talk:Demosthenes and this one Talk:ADHD have several banners, one on top of the others. It looks kind of messy. It would be nice if there could be smaller, more compact versions in addition to the ones already available. What do y'all think?--*Kat* 07:23, 17 September 2006 (UTC) Here are some examples of what I would like us to see more of:

- Good idea. I'd say go bold and multiply. Don't worry about overusing the template namespace. If these don't get support, you can have them speedy deleted as their author. Just one suggestion, give them names, similar to the ones they duplicate so that they appear beside them in category listings. --Swift 20:18, 17 September 2006 (UTC)
- See Wikipedia:Talk page templates#Small option. --Quiddity 04:38, 5 December 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Forum protection from spam
It's become a big problem for forum owners to protect them from spam. Automated programs are sending their ads in huge quantities today.
We're small community of coders, upgrading forum's source code to prevent spam-programs to post ads at your forums.
Our technique is probably one of the best. There's no need in such ugly methods as 'capcha' or 'secret question'. For average user there would not be any visible effects. No need to make e-mail activation (that usually makes number of successful registrations less), no even need to make your users register at forums to post messages.
