[edit] Page move?

Should we rename this to "Templatization FAQ"? -- Pinktulip 13:22, 31 January 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Book reference template

Not sure where else to ask this. Maybe on the citing sources talk page. Just wondering what's up with the Book reference template? Why doesn't it translate data into a standard (not to mention intelligible) format? Take a look at the current Cantinflas article. The one source that uses the template looks terrible. Or am I dooing something wrong?--Rockero420 21:59, 29 January 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Bot that updates the cache?

Hello. Do I understand correctly that there's a bot that updates the cache when templates change? Also, I've read a number of user discussions where redirects and templates are brought up as an issue (e.g. Wikipedia talk:Redirect#Section "Don't fix links to redirects that aren't broken" suggested change). Can anyone here give us more information on this aspect of redirects? Thanks! Ewlyahoocom 20:31, 10 May 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Appropriateness of templates

I'd like to see a section/general policy addressing the appropriateness of templates, since I lack the know-how to determine what's appropriate or not. I just know that they're big signs at the top of pages, and putting one up there might be a big action that sets off sparks (even if it's warrented.) Kennard2 01:44, 1 February 2007 (UTC)
