Tempest 3000
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Tempest 3000 is a remake of the Tempest game, and a sequel to Tempest 2000, written by Jeff Minter for Nuon. Tempest 3000 is considered the killer app for the Nuon platform, and indeed the main motivation for purchasing such a DVD player at all.

[edit] Gameplay
Tempest 3000 includes all of the enhancements from Tempest 2000 plus even more new web designs, webs that move and reform, a greater game role for the Jump control, a "missile" fire option (which attacks enemies in two columns of the web, but not the column in which the player's Claw is placed, thus providing no protection against oncoming enemies), and new bonus rounds.
[edit] Cheats
Entering the level password NOSDAFLOSSIE makes all levels selectable.
Entering the level password CHUPACABRA makes the player's ship invulnerable to all enemies except Pulsars and Frank Zappers.
[edit] Clone
It is worthy of note that a freeware clone of the game under the fun-poking name of Tsunami 2010 exists. It is quite accurate in execution, and its website can be found below.
