Temp are an American rock and roll electronica IDM band who formed in Los Angeles and gained fame from the internet.^{[citation needed]} C'est La Vie (EP) was released in 2005 and sparked a bidding war among record labels.^{[citation needed]}

Their music is a mixture of folky, bossa nova, singer-songwriter music with complex electronic, IDM, Indietronica, House beats.
