Temne can refer to:

  • A West Atlantic language, the Temne language is one of the most widely spoken indigenous languages of Sierra Leone, West Africa. It is spoken by the Temne people of Sierra Leone.
  • A number of wars: The Temne War (1801-7); the Temne-Susu War (1815); and the Temne-Loko War (1841).
  • 'Temné' is the Czech word for dark: e.g.: it is the name for a popular dark beer; and Temné vody (Dark Water) is the Czech name of a horror movie released in 2005.
