A recurring change I have noticed is the changing of White to Asian in regards to racial predominance. In the most recent census data from 2000, the number of Asians has surpassed the number of Whites in Temple City. Census Data I am requesting that someone rewrite that part of the article, because simply changing White to Asian is not accurate when considering the definition of predominance and the other statements in the paragraph. --Mysteryperson956 07:57, 4 December 2006 (UTC)

If you could find a more clear and more reliable resource than that, I'd be the first in line to do it, but until then, I don't find that we can really change something so important as a city's racial dominence without it. Ian Lee 06:46, 16 February 2007 (UTC)

Are you sure? The Census website provides the following 2000 census data for Temple City:

White:48.7%
Asian:38.9%
First of all, sign your posts with four tildas "~~~~", and secondly, the 2000 Census data for 2000 is already in the article. I'm not arguing about that. What I am agruing about, is that Mysteryperson956 wants to change it to a 2007 survey. For the 2007 survey, we don't know who conducted it, we don't know how accurate it is, but we do know that it is an unreliable source. Because of those three reasons, I dont think we should change the demographics section until a more reliable source (perhaps the 2010 Census) comes rolling along. — Ian Lee (Talk|contribs) 19:24, 4 March 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Oak (Avenue) Intermediate Middle School

I just noticed that when I created the Oak (Avenue) Intermediate Middle School page... I accidentally left out the word "Avenue". Does anyone know how to fix this? --Ian Lee 03:29, 17 January 2007 (UTC)

OK... I fixed it. Oak Intermediate Middle School now rederects us to Oak Avenue Middle School. Ian Lee 01:42, 15 February 2007 (UTC)
