User pages in this category exist temporarily, usually to provide information to the users or allow them a suitable period of time to contest blocking. These pages should be deleted after a suitable period of time; although there is no consensus on the exact period of time, one month is widely accepted.
Pages in this category are tagged with {{temporary userpage}} or one of several indefinite block templates. Administrators will periodically delete pages in this category that were not edited in over a month.

Caution: Please do not delete pages tagged as sockpuppets. They should not be in this category in the first place (and Pathosbot removes them when they are found, except on protected pages), but if they are, please leave them. These pages are required for sockpuppet tracking purposes; a number of administrators expressed their concern that many were being removed, making things difficult for them, and have requested that this not happen in future. |
