Telemachus Claudius Rhade (born September 10, 1989) is the full anonymous screenname of a die-hard technology user from Québec, Canada. He often shortens it to "Rhade" for friends.
His username is based on Telemachus Rhade of Gene Roddenberry's Andromeda, and his middle name is taken from Hamlet's King Claudius.

Rhade is a very private individual, tending to avoid all contact with his peers and will only speak when spoken to, having difficulty starting conversations. He suffers from Asperger's Syndrome, which he finds bothersome considering it contributes to his shyness.
Rhade proudly wears a beard, which he has wanted since he was three years old.
Rhade does not view politics positively, because he feels that the system makes every politician corrupt. He also feels that they are paid overabundant salaries, and that they can "get away with" too much.
One of Rhade's biggest issues with the world is the constitutional rights of criminals in the justice system. He feels that these only help crime rather than reduce it, and that the world will end up in chaos because of it. He loathes it when a dangerous criminal is punished with a light sentence or plain released (escapes justice). As such, he is a strong supporter of (but does not practice) vigilante justice.

Rhade loves wild animals, the lion and the tiger being his two favorites. One of his hobbies is taking photograpghs of said animals when he visits the zoo. He has manifested interest in joining programs to save tigers and lions.

Rhade strongly opposes all forms of pollution (mainly water pollution), as well as deforestation. He detests waste and only litters if it is biodegradable.
He is also very intolerant of vehicles. He claims that they (cars) are only good for two things: taking up space on the road needlessly, and polluting the air. As such, he uses public transportation.

Rhade adores anything supernatural, mostly fairies and fairy lore. Fairies (through the reading of books) are the main reason Rhade wishes to protect nature. He automatically takes a liking to any fictional character who is a fairy. He harbors a large collection of items that depict fairies. Such items include books, sculptures, garden statues/lawn ornaments, dolls/toys and any movie that features even the shortest appearance by a fairy. He is intensely interested in the Disney Fairies franchise, his favorite character from the franchise being Prilla. He has a few items from Dinsey Fairies in his collection.
He also loves reading about mythological beasts such as the kraken, the behemoth and the dragon.

Rhade enjoys watching movies, and is still a VHS enthusiast. His current favorite movie is Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man's Chest.
Rhade's current favorite film actor is Jeremy Irons, who played Scar, one of his favorite fictional characters. His love for Scar has pushed him to make Irons his new favorite actor (formerly Robin Williams and Arnold Schwarzenegger) and in turn his other film roles. So far, the only such role he has seen is that of Tiberias in Kingdom of Heaven.
He also enjoys Shakespearean tragedy, and reads Shakespeare's plays ans watches movies based on said plays. His favourite Shakespearean play is Hamlet. He had previously studied Romeo and Juliet and Macbeth in high school, but Hamlet was the only one he was truly interested in. Since other classes were doing Othello, Rhade was happy that he did Hamlet, because he does not think he would have liked Othello as much.

If there is one thing Rhade cannot get enough of, it is computer programming. He is currently studying computer science in college. The main reason he is studying programming is to create video games. He wishes to work at Nintendo as a video game designer and developer.
He is in the midst of learning many programming languages, and they include C++, Java, Ruby and assembly language. He has yet to undertake VisualBasic, JavaScript and PHP

One of Rhade's most noticeable interests is console video games.

Rhade worships anything made by Nintendo, be it its consoles or its games. He owns a Super Nintendo Entertainment System, a Nintendo 64, a Nintendo GameCube, a Game Boy Advance, a Nintendo DS and the latest Wii. Although he usually tends to avoid products from other companies, he owns a Sega Saturn and enjoys the Star Wars Battlefront series, whose games are not available on Nintendo platforms.
He is a fan of the Super Mario series. His favourite Mario character is Bowser. New Super Mario Bros. is the game that prompted him to buy a Nintendo DS.
Rhade particularly enjoys the original version of Panel De Pon and its protagonist, Lip. His admiration for the flower-bearing fairy led to a murderous hatred of Yoshi, who used to be one of his very favorite characters, for replacing Lip in Tetris Attack. He shares a similar (although higher) love for Draco Centauros from Puyo Puyo, making her the only reason he plays the blob-popping puzzle game.
He is an avid fan of Midna from The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess. His curiosity regarding Midna's character made him purchase the game. Midna is the only Zelda character he likes more than Saria from Ocarina of Time.
[edit] North-American Localization
Rhade expresses disgust toward any video game localization that involves character replacement. Such games include Tetris Attack and Kirby's Avalanche/Dr. Robotnik's Mean Bean Machine. He avoids any incarnation of Panel De Pon and Puyo Puyo which does not feature its respective original cast of characters. Rhade dislikes this form of localization because he feels it is a disgrace to the original cast, who is then labeled as obscure.
[edit] Super Smash Bros. Series
Rhade enjoyed the series since the first game, Super Smash Bros. on the Nintendo 64. He was, however, disappointed by the lack of Bowser in the playable roster. His biggest dream as an owner of this game was unlocking Metal Mario, which could not be done by normal means. Game Shark had to be used, but it proved disastrous for him. He still has a few minute dreams about Metal Mario.
Super Smash Bros. Melee proved to be a turning point for Rhade. With Bowser playable (what made him purchase the game), he got into it more than the Nintendo 64 incarnation. However, Luigi was the one to earn the title of best character, until Giga Bowser was encountered and was the prime reason for the purchase of Datel's Action Replay, which he now uses everytime he plays Super Smash Bros. Melee, to gain the power to battle as Giga Bowser. Rhade is still rather upset that HAL did not include Giga Bowser as an unlockable bonus character, and thus frowns upon how some fun characters who add replay value, such as Giga Bowser, remain unplayable to humans except through the use of expensive and hard-to-find cheating devices.
Rhade is very hesitant about the upcoming Wii game Super Smash Bros. Brawl. At first, he was appalled by the appearance of third-party characters, which he claimed "ruined the whole purpose of Super Smash Bros." However, viewing Solid Snake's moves in the Nintendo World 2006 trailer changed his opinion on the character. He was very disappointed at the appearance of Fox McCloud in the same trailer, because he was hoping for a true newcomer.
When contemplating the roster of playable characters in Brawl, he stated that he does not want Sonic the Hedgehog to appear; simply because of the fans' desire to have a "Mario VS. Sonic" game. His most wanted playable character is Lip from Panel De Pon. He states that only she, Draco Centauros from Puyo and/or Midna from Twilight Princess can make him play it. Should none of these three characters appear as playable characters, he will refuse to come into contact with the game. He will buy it if even only one of them makes it. However, even if any of these characters make it, Rhade states that he will still be at a loss if Giga Bowser does not return, and will reconsider his decision if he is playable and his other three are not.

Rhade is much more open online than in direct contact with people. When online, he simply states his opinion and cares not what others think of it.
He was formerly an active member of the Toolkitzone.com forums, but left them, citing dissatisfaction with the treatment he recieved from most of the members. He was often trolled there, ranging from a user creating a fake spamming account that poked fun at him to being laughed at for actively wanting Lip in Super Smash Bros. Brawl.
He has a LiveJournal account (which he created in November 2006) with exactly 13 mutual friends. He recently made his default userpic a Midna userpic.
A Wikipedian by the name of MedianWarlord once tried to invade his privacy by creating a Wikipedia article on him, titled "Telemachus Rhade (Toolkitzone.com member)". Rhade expresses gratitude to the one who deleted said article from Wikipedia.
Currently, his biggest online dream is to get an AOL Instant Messager account so that he may chat with his LiveJournal friends.
