Tell The World My Name is the debut album of rapper K-Solo. Hits like "Your Moms In My Business" and "Spellbound" proved the growing success of his style, and he was later accused by DMX of stealing this rap style. Because he was the first rap act of EPMD's Hit Squad, the production work on this album was done by the duo themselves. Most of the tracks was being produced by Parrish Smith except "Spellbound" which was produced by Erick Sermon. The album also follows Kevin Madison's life story on the song "Fugitive", where he raps about his life as a fugitive for beating up two bikers, being chased by cops, being arrested and receiving 16 months in prison. After this dynamic debut, he returned in 1992 with the album "Times Up", which was not at the same level as "Tell The World My Name".
