[edit] Men's Telia Tour

In 2006 the men's tour consisted of seventeen events. The richest event was the SEK 1,130,000 Telia Challenge Waxholm, which is co-sanctioned with the Challenge Tour, which is the official developmental tour operated by the PGA European Tour. The other events had purses ranging from SEK 100,000 to SEK 600,000. Most of the events are played over 54 holes.

Men's Telia Tour events carry points in the Nordic League competition, which is run in collaboration by the national golf associations of Denmark, Finland, Norway and Sweden.

A step down from the Men's Telia Tour is the Swedish Mini Tour, where the 2006 events had purses of between SEK 40,000 and SEK 80,000.

[edit] Women's Telia Tour

In 2006 the women's tour consisted of sixteen events with prize founds ranging from 100,000 to 300,000. In 2005 it became the first official feeder tour for the LET. The top two players from the top five on the Telia Tour ranking that do not already have exempt status on the LET qualify for the membership of the LET for the following season, and the remainder of the top ten players on the Telia Tour are exempted into the final stage of the LET Qualifying School.[1]
