If cytokinesis comes after telophase, how does the image show completed cytokinesis with telophase going on. -Ambuj Saxena (talk) 20:11, 12 May 2006 (UTC)
Cytokinesis can start roughly halfway through telophase, IIRC. Telophase is the division of the nucleus, cytokinesis is the division of the cell membrane, just as long as they don't interfere with each other, they can occur at the same time for efficiency. [edit] cell plate - cleavage furrow
Corrected the following statement on the image: "The pinching is known as the "Cell Plate" in plant cells" to say "cleavage furrow." The cell plate starts in the center of the plant cell and grows outwards until it hits the cell wall. There is no pinching in plant cells, therefore the image does not represent a plant cell. - tameeria 23:37, 5 February 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Meiosis
Shouldn't this article cover Telophase I and II in Meiosis as well? Or is there already one on that? Mooski Magnus 03:31, 22 February 2007 (UTC)
