Talk:Teli
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Teli Samaj is a business caste of india. Their primary source of income was Oil business ,which then got migrated by time and conditions. Teli Samaj had a brief history . It was a caste that was always underestimated even though they had good qualities and virtues. Many great men were diminshed under the cruel and intentional supression by upper caste (mostly Brahmins). Like other caste's in India , Teli caste too suffered the dominancy of Brahmin Era.It had suffered more than others. Brahmin's had blindly and unnecessarily titled Teli's as bad omen. But, now the caste system is under going fruitful transformation.People are weighted more on thier virtues rather than their inheritance.

[edit] NPOV
By glorifying the Teli caste in India and claiming that it is not a caste, but a profession class is in clear violation of Wikipedia's NPOV policy. --Nevhood 18:54, 23 February 2007 (UTC)
