Professor Tejatat Tejasen is often referred to as evidence supporting the scientific accuracy of the Quran. The explanaition given is usually that he is a famous Thai scientist (Chairman of the Department of Anatomy at Chiang Mai University, Chiang Mai, Thailand [1]) who converted to Islam after reading the following Ayat (verse) in the Quran.^{[citation needed]}
