Tegnérlunden

Tegnérlunden is a park in central Stockholm, Sweden. It was originally erected 1890, but was re-constructed in 1940.
On a hill in Tegnérlunden stands Carl Eldh's massive statue of August Strindberg, erected in 1942.

Astrid Lindgren's childrens book Mio min Mio takes its beginning in Tegnérlunden. It is there the boy Bo Vilhelm Olsson meets the genie möter spirit that takes him with to Landet i fjärran.
