Talk:Ted Wong
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Ted wong was never certified in JKD. Only Taky Kimura, James Lee, and Dan Inosanto were. Ted received his certification in Jun Fan, Bruce's original interpretation and evolution of Wing Tsun. His certificate even says "Jun Fan Gung Fu". The worst part of this entry is that it does not even mention Taky or James whom were both ranked ahead of Ted. Here is a link to what a JKD certificate looks like:
http://www.brucelee.com/jamescertificate.html
This is James Lee's certificate from Bruce for the art of JKD, yet this entry states that only Ted Wong and Dan Inosanto received this honr. Taky Kimura is still alive and has one of these as well, so does Dan Inosanto. Ted Wong has a certificate in Jun Fan Gung Fu, which is only a piece of the JKD puzzle.

It's extremely difficult to make out what's going on above, without going through the edits in the History, one by one. Could people please sign their comments, so that it's clear who's saying what, and when? Mel Etitis (Μελ Ετητης) 12:13, 28 May 2005 (UTC)
[edit] Wrong link for Joe Lewis
The link for Joe Lewis, karate practitioner, links to the article on Joe Lewis, English football goalkeeper. I don't know how to fix that.
TED WONG WAS NEVER CERTIFIED TO TEACH JKD BY BRUCE Why would Dan Inosanto, Taky Kimura, and James Lee turn their back on Ted if he was indeed certified by Bruce in Bruce's final expression of the martial arts(JKD)? Ted and his practiotioners still insist he was certified in JKD, but the three people that were indeed pased the torch insist he was not, but rather only in Jun Fan Gung Fu.
The claim that Ted is cert in JKD is false and shameful

the page on bruce lee has it right. why do people insist on constantly putting errorneous information on the ted wong page?
