Tecnocumbia is a genre that grew out of Andean chicha and added synthesisers and samplers. this musical style started in Bolivia using the Peruvian chicha as a base, the Tecnocumbia has gone through many changes in different regions such as Huancayo, Lima in Peru, Bolivia, the north of Argentina and Chile, the most recent exponents are the group Kasualidad and Lagrimas.
